Basically this set theme to the hunt. Basing the hunt on a heart was a perfect tie in to the spot picked. (See stump above)

Near broken trace, our harden space,
Find the groove and own er' at last.
Possess the doubloon, upon blood moon,
As eclipse transforms gold to glass.
The official meaning of the clue.
The doubloon was hidden with a heart shaped case. Broken trace was the stump which was a heart shape, and harden space was the rock placed over the doubloon. All in the heart of Mendota Village.
Words-'broken', 'blood' (pertained a human heart.)
Songs used-"Harden" My Heart, "Groove" is in the heart, "Own er" of a Lonely Heart, I Will "Possess" your Heart, Total "Eclipse" of the Heart, and Heart of "Gold" and Heart of "Glass."

The miracle playground equipment used in Veteran's Park. Works as your park comfirmer as well as area to avoid in the park. Then use of slow was pertain to a few slow street signs. One of being right next to the doubloon.

One of the younger hunters I encountered called me out on my red herring! As here I am trying to give you a split area for the hunt. VFW or Veteran's Park.

Retracted my red herring giving everybody a general location of the doubloon. Veteran's Park
2 anagrams used:
Set off= off E st.
Deter thirst=Third Street (which is how 3rd St sign is spelled within view from the treasure.

A diabolical stash, requires no dash,
Under shell the doubloon wends.
Good luck to all, who made the call,
In our Veteran park the battle ends.
What a crazy way, for nature to play,
A lovely symbol overlooks treasure.
If you're running on E, a heart is key.
Just use the ol' 6-7 for measure.

Gives you your final instructions.
Look for the heart shaped stump and take about 7 paces toward the Slow sign. It was under part of a rock.
