Good evening...if everyone could please open their guied to page 33 (second edition) I was there today and everything seemed to fit. This is the catch though, my take on 'in and on the air' is Van Dyke street - Dick VanDyke was on the air and the other street is Hazel Street and a Hazeltree is in the air?!?!?!?!? So do I need to goto bed or what?

Hi! I'm logged back on -- Dave, why are you so set on Mounds? The reason I'm leaning toward ruling out Mounds is - no parking lot, and I don't recall a rec center there??? however, park on the street or in the lot, could mean getting towed to a lot for parking in no parking zones or snow emergency route....

aka Dickaroo, Terry, Ali and Larza too.....

Greetings,

The clues seem to fit Mounds Park, and it was there in 1987, so the park is not (or was not) taboo. 1987 was the only year it was hidden in Mounds Park.

In this "politically correct" age, though, I wonder if they would risk the possible political fallout of hiding it on "sacred ground"...

When the thousands of people (not to mention Mini Donut van) arrive, it might be hard to protect the Mounds.

I tend to lean away from Mounds Park, although I've been wrong before. In fact I've been wrong for 46 consecutive years. Hmmm... I haven't been totally wrong for 46 years (except the year I spent two days hunting in Dakota County.. but I swear.. that park in Dakota County fit the clues too a tee).

Anyway, I kind like Hillcrest Rec Center in Highland Park and Highland Park near the golf course.

Tonights clue will surely be a help.

Good luck everyone!!!!

Dickaroo

I hate to think that I will be leaving on Sunday and will be far, far away until next Thursday. I WANT to dig!!! Hopefully, I can get my laptop fixed in time to bring it along on my trip so I can keep in touch with the action. Best of luck to all!
