Battle Creek area take a rigt off of Upper Afton by the elementary school. The Rec Center is next to the big sliding hill by the old ski jump. I think it's considered "Battle Creek Park still there. It's away from all of the trees and lots of skiing---anyone along with me?

Destiny, conventional wisdom says it's someplace with a rec center. Usually a building where they hold activities, sometimes have concessions, rent equipment, the like. OF COURSE, the clue writer could have something else in mind. I don't think so, but it's a possibility...

I think it might be at Duluth & Case Rec Center. There is a radio antena to the SW horizon and a digital tower to the south. It has only one parking lot on the Norht side. There is also a Jenks (Junk)Ave... Does anyone know if there is a junk yard nearby?

OK- Here are my thoughts. This is a new one nobody has come up with. Tell me if I'm smokin' something. Clue # 2 -work your brain,your legs...if you have some time to kill. What do you do if you have some time to kill? Take a k(napp). Knapp street and Hillside Ave surround Langford Rec Center. Oh, By the way, you can see KSTP Tower from the hockey rinks and there is a elementary school on the premises! Anyone think this could be an option?

tim....i also have BC on my list still. I will go out looking tomorrow to confirm or not, some of my suspicions...it's too late now and I have to work tomorrow. But, keep the previous clues in mind, people. There are a ton of parks with park n rec centers with no hills/slides/woods....rule those out.

You're right about Langford. No lot. Hard to remember that. The last time it was there, parking was not an issue. Hardly anyone ever got out there to dig. It was as if most people didn't know it existed.

At Duluth & Case the woods border one side of the park, there are some kids sledding down a small hill there. The Bruce Vento Trail was recently renamed to honor him. You can see towers from ther but I think they are Cell phone towers.

Janis - In reality, the zoo and golf courses have always been off limits. Harriet Island in the rules this year has been open to speculation ranging from not damaging the new river front park to giving it a rest after the spring floods and the newer sod.

the lot is chained off, but a parks-n-rec truck is sitting outside the rec center. i swear i could hear someone moving around inside (actually got a little spooked at one point). a lot of things seem to point to that BUT it's also a park that has a lot of litter issues, broken glass, etc. Not sure if they'd stash it there for that reason alone. thoughts?

maybe the ' The ' park n rec vs. ' a ' park n rec means there is only one place to park other than the street, possibly cancelling out a much larger park with 2 or more parking locations....
