Fee wheres that? I just got back form driving all over the place, from Crosby & Highland to Como, Phalen & Mounds, between them I tried to find Newell but I coulnd't remember how to get there. Crosby had about 5 cars each with a person in them just hangin' around, Highland was nothing, Como was too big to notice anyone, same with Phalen, but I did go by and see some of you at 4pm at Mounds, about 4 peps gettin ready to dig dig dig.

No I am not really all that familiar with any of the Parks. I Just see every thing going that way... We all will see things differently. I drove thru the parks a couple of times and That one seems to stand out most to me. The amount of trees and open space. The things I pointed out earlier.

Light a Spark-------Flintstones; Time to Kill--------Fort Snelling across the river; In and On the air---Radio waves from airport; Tide ---------------From the river; Brow---------top of a steep Hill

Just Noodling like the rest of you. Dont meen to be stuck on one park. Just my thoughts..........

There is no snow to speak of.... There was no snow forcast really before the hunt.... therefore, to make it a good hunt, it must be in one of the large parks, cuz it will be hard to keep hidden.....

If you take White Bear Ave. South until it ends, there are 3 streets that take you around the block. A street, B and C If you walk in from WB ave. you will see the large cement blocks that used to support it. there are also stairs that lead to the bottom.

This may have been mentioned, but the only thing truly on and in the air would be a pilot. On the air with the control tower and in the air. My thinking then would be Mounds.

I see that everyone thinks that today's clue is about an echo, but does anyone else think that it may be a cheer......i.e., a college cheer????? (Hey, Hey, what do you say???) I was thinking College Park. It is by the Fair grounds too.

Hi all - This is my first writin' here so I have two things to say 1.Just wanted you all to know in the Cooler that you got a nice plug from Sany on KQRS this morning. All your "noodlin" ideas I read here were mentioned on the show...oh wait ... we don't want the whole world to know where it is ...do we? UM never mind. Note to Sany, shut up! LOL and 2. I wanted you all to know I have been in the hunt for three years and think of you all here as friends, even though I don't even know ya - but I laugh with ya all and your great ideas. And I thank you for a good time, every year. But now a question: Where is the dang thing? I went out (again) looking. And no, did not find it. Note to self: Keep looking, cause it ain't in the keyboard. Thanks all for the great time EVERY year! You keep me going. : )

Hi from the Selby-Dale area! Sethmon518@hotmail.com

Talking about the echo thing, if you happen to watch a lot of military movies, notice that when sending messages they say them twice, so I was also thinking about the Minnesota Army National Guard hanger accross Holman from Mounds.

Here are thoughts on BC:

"Or just trek up and down every hill, Work your brain, your legs, it will be fun"--lots of hills and ski trails

"If you have some time to kill"--battle

"Time and tide"--near Mississippi, or Longfellow St.

"fun and slide"--big sledding hill, or water slide

"Down the hill, far from the woods"--sledding hill slopes away from woods

"We're game to play But give us a tip -- be fair!"--baseball fields

"Look for something in and on the air"--planes in air from airport, Point Douglas Road refering to Paul Douglas on TV

Any thoughts? Anyone else want to do a rundown of their fav. park??

krazy huntress - 06:31pm Jan 23, 2002 CST (#15456 of 24963) Mark Reply

my hunch about all the "hill" mentioning in the clues. Well maybe the Cluewriter isn't even hinting towards actual hills, maybe he/she is speaking of a street such as HILLSIDE AVE .. by Langford.. you can also see a radio tower from there.. I am not sure which one. it would be just like them to hide it in a small park again, too.
