I think the quotation is interesting for "Were game to play but give us a tip--be fair" That relates to golf in my brain which puts me back to highland? See what I mean? I think there was no golf course warning in the clues for the fact that the alleged park has a course but we know to stay off of them already.

ok my inisght: 4th clue more than likely says the med can be found in a park NEAR the state fair grounds. Line things up right and u will be able to see the KSTP tower as well as the space needle and perhaps a smoke stack from some building. be fair says it is near the fair grounds. hmmm points to ponder

The Pioneer Press and Cub Foods will host three special events for participants in the Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt who gather at the newspaper’s downtown St. Paul headquarters to await publication of clues:

“Vulcan Night” – Saturday, Jan. 26: The Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt heats up with a visit from the Winter Carnival Vulcans. The hunt’s presenting sponsor – Cub Foods – and Hormel, also a Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt sponsor, will participate. KOOL 108 and the station’s KOOL KAT mascot will help host the event and prize drawings.

“Tropical Night” – Sunday, Jan. 27: Colorful leis and Hawaiian shirts will brighten the night in time for an appearance by the Winter Carnival Royal Family. The WLOL party van will pull up to help host the event and prize giveaways.

“Movie Night” – Tuesday, Jan. 29: The Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt goes Hollywood with Marcus Theatres and K102. Treasure hunters can watch movie trailers, munch popcorn and win theater tickets, posters and other prizes. K102 will sponsor an appearance by the Rodeo Renegades danceline and a drawing for rodeo tickets.

Time: All events will be held from 11 p.m. until midnight. Events will take place, as scheduled, unless the medallion has been found. Call the Treasure Hunt Hot Line for the current status of the hunt at (651) 228-5547.

Place: Events will be held in the lobby of the Pioneer Press building at 345 Cedar St., downtown St. Paul.

NV, the gates at Phalen are open until after dark, at least they were open at 6 when I was there yesterday. And maybe that's what clue two is. You may knit your brow when you see the closed gates. Use your brain, your legs you might need to figure out another way to get into the park by walking a distance.

i'll discuss whatever comes up for discussling, td. honestly, newell did pop into my mind with this clue alone, as there are a lot of similarities between it and 2000. nothing else though has pointed me towards newell.

Something about Elway, and Gannon. I took this "on and in the air" to mean football looking at crosby i see a Stewart St. too and then i think of the N.F.L. playofs being on the air now and I am trying to think if any of these people are announcers but the onyl one I can think of possibly is Elway. But I dont think so I just wanted to get this in so when i get back in about an hour I can see how you all shoot this idea down. maybe some of you can even help me with more ideas about this area I see other parks very near hear Ahhhhh........Who KNows

Hey All. I am wondering about the COMO thing. With this unusual weather, snow cover will be gone by the weekend. Add all of the activities and the crowds that come with them and it is simply a walk through the park to find it.
