I've seen Sara Jane-she's not so little.

I was just checking my MOST WANTED book with short biographies of all those who made the list between 1950 and 1990.Surprisingly-considering the notoriety of the SLA-none of those fugitives made the FBI 'most wanted'.They were among the second banana wanted.

This is a stretch but the 'pride'and lion poster might like it.

Some years ago-Charlie Pride performed at the State Fair.It might have been 1976 or something.I wouldn't put it past any PP clue writer to dredge this obscure fact up and present it as a clue. The Fair Grounds then is where the medallion is waiting.

that's actually a bone of contention here, pirates. there is a difference in the wording between "...a st. paul park" and "a park in st. paul". the former would imply something run by st. paul parks and rec, while the latter would imply something else (battle creek and beaver lake qualify for this). of coruse it may have been worded the way it was just to get a rhyme.

lol ian!

from the cooler usage agreement:

1. You must register using a legitimate e-mail address provided to you by an Internet Service Provider. Free e-mail services, like those available at Hotmail and Yahoo, are not permitted, and are in fact blocked by the system. We encourage the use of real names, but you may use a nickname or pseudonym. That would be a good clue if it were hidden at Harriet Island near the river-which it is not.

It's not much of a trip-but there's a short excursion on the Harriet Bishop in the summer. The point on the river where it turns around might not be far from Crosby Park.

Clue #1---St. Paul Park Clue #2--- Up and down-Upper and Lower Afton TREK- Mountain bike Reference( Battle Creek?) Clue #3--- ??? Tide- Water? Time? High tide 2x daily Low tide 2x daily- Plus twenty four hours. Could bring you to the #28 but that is a stretch.

You know what, i was just thinking these clues fit for como. I am in denial, but the slide (ice slide), there is a school nearby there are large hills. Wouldn't that be a way to throw people off.

my top 5 are mounds, hidden falls, highland, battle creek, and phalen. does that seem ok so far?

I was thinking Phalen at first too, but like you said, not a lot of hills, kind of rules that out for me.

No, Conway and Newell are small, but if you remember those hunts there was quite a bit of snow to cover the medallion. This year, they must have banked on there being little or no snow and hit it in a larger park, i think anyway.

Ok enough with the hacking of my name please!!!! This is my fourth name in two days. Im getting tired of this. HIGHLAND IS THE PLACE!!!

No No No, you are all thinking in the wrong spot. What does Time and Tide have in common? "High" High Time, High Tide. High Time is another way of saying high noon. Its where the sun is the highest point of the day. High tide is the highest water level. Which means what is the highest point in St Paul? The old Water Tower in Highland Park hidden in a knitted hat.

So far I think we know what we knew Saturday before the clues came out. Highland, Hidden Falls and Battle Creek are my favorites because there is enough space for us idiots to go and terrorize them.

A TIME TO KILL by John Grisham would be a typical clue for this paper-and Mississippi or the river named thereof logical.

But "time and tide" in another clue seem to offset it.or at least make me think of another reference for time besides the other one.The Longfellow poem guess is as good as any-but the word 'time'should be used in only one clue IMHO.

I drove all around Battle Creek Park(s) today - really don't think it's there. Think about this - Como Park is Huge. I think you could hide it there 5 years in a row and never really be close to spots before, I hate to admit it but all the clues to date do fit como
