Hmm, people think that it's Highland because of high from "time and tide" and
land from "fun and slide". That all works except for "funland". The others have
the abstract word at the beginning, where as funland has it at the end. Also,
why choose funland? Why not choose landmark, landfill, greenland, homeland,
something like that? Those are much more normal than "funland". So that's my
argument against that line of noodling. And I'm with Green when she says it
likely won't be at BC because of the skiing.

I also read for the first time this year's rules. They've changed from last
year. Not sure why you can turn in handwritten clues and/or printed from the
computer. The paper didn't seem clear if the handwritten and/or computer clues
were just for Cub Foods or if it was also for the PP with the medallion. Does
anyone know the true facts?

It would make sense that the clues be newspaper clippings for the medallion

I try to think simple when reading the clues as they usually don't put a lot
of information in each clue. There's usually only 1 meaning for each clue.
Here's my thought:
Clue 1: a park in St. Paul (not a St. Paul park - there is a difference)
Clue 2: inside a knitted cap and possibly inside a watch box or near
something with a clock
Clue 3: Stay away from the hill and trees. Possibly leading to a street.

Usually the item it is hidden in is mentioned very early in the clues (Clue
#2 seems to be the lucky number). I also say that the sparks would be also the
fireworks for the 4th of July. I think "time to kill" refers to the movie/novel
as it was set in the state of Mississippi.

If the medallion if what you want to find,
Then you will have to use your mind,
There is no way they would give us the name of the park,

They want to keep us in the dark,
Do you see,
High refers to a landmark,

Do not give my words to much clout,

(thereby reinforcing your theory). But, Miss. R. Blvd adjoins HF.
And, you're welcome! But, if the writer is new this year (and I think "it"

I am betting it is the same writer. She is know in past years for
interjecting a lot (A LOT!!!!) of fluff.
As mentioned before, the clues hold little information, and not to read into

for the initial cash prize of $2,500 and $1,200 in groceries from Cub (one $100
Cub gift card per month for 12 months).
An additional $2,500 will be awarded if all of the published daily clues are
clipped from the Pioneer Press and presented along with the medallion.
The Pioneer Press also will award an additional $5,000 if the finder is a
