I had the kids sledding at Battle Creek this afternoon. Lots of hills, lots

Teddy - Since you're in LV, did you take part in the "Jingle Bell Rock" hunt
last month? It's put on by the EDGE radio station out there. You hunt for a
specific rock among all the rocks in the desert areas of Clark County. They
broadcast 1 clue per day on the radio about 7AM. The clues are short one-liners
that don't rhyme. They are easier to interpret than the Medallion clues, but
it's just as hard to find a rock among other rocks as to find a medallion buried
in the snow. Both are tantamount to finding the needle in the haystack. Still
fun to try to figure out though.

Somebody needs to check arlington/ark out again. I drove past before the snow
flew and there were signs posted at the entrances that said something like "stay
off the new turf"
I posted this way back, but I'm not going to try to find where. If the signs
are still there, this may not be the park. If they're gone, maybe they were
there to keep people away until the hunt began? Just reaching waaaay out here.

I would just like to say that the PP would want to put it in a big park. If
they had a nother catastrophe like they did at Newell...(god forbid that

there is still no mention of staying off the golf course, and we are 3 clues

except the ball field thing and that's up the hill.

Its at Mounds park people! You guys are thinking to hard no-affence. Read the
clue # 2. “If you have some time to kill” means if you have any time left over
treking all over every hill, to go and have some fun swinging. “Work your brain,
your legs, it will be fun” means you are going to use your brain to find the
playground, then go to the swings. Because to swing you must use your legs to
get moving.

The water tower is only open to the public 1 day out of the year sometime in
October (?) and is designated the highest point (think when you are actually at
the top of the water tower looking out)
Note: I learned that on the St. Paul City Channel :)

Im not sure whats going on with this golf course thing because no matter
where it was hidden they would always say in clue one or two to stay off of the
golf course. Maybe this year they decided to put it in the rules so they wouldnt
have to waste a clue on it.

It would certainly take ALOT of pride and stubborness to hunt Como again. And
wouldn't the giant slide be perfect for these clues, as I am sure everyone is
thinking 2 things---1.Will NOT be at Como again 2. The slide they are referring
to would be TOO obvious to be the giant slide. Let's face it, Como is synonomous
with the whole winter carnival, and where better to show your pride? But again,
I sure hope not. They would soon have to call this the Como Park medallion hunt
