Who was it that was thinking about Swede Hollow? I really, REALLY wanted it to be there 2 years ago (when it was Newell). That Vikings depression clue - what could have fit better?

I actually SAW the movie people, and they interviewed me and took my picture, and I'm not *anywhere* on their site, so don't feel bad about not getting to see them.

Hopefully, since this year I don't have a 1 year old to take care of, I'll be able to get out more at night.

Not sure, though I seem to recall that some people were climbing on the mounds, even when people just thought it was there.

Since the last medallion was at Mounds, there have been at least two hunts that drew HUNDREDS to that park during the hunt. Chair-o-Key being one and one other since then. No incidents of any kind.

Its a public St. Paul Park. Its a possibility.

If it's in a different park and someone does something stupid, they are only liable for having the hunt where someone might do something stupid. But if it actually was hidden in that park, I would think their liability for anything that happened would go up.

Even the last time the medallion was at Mounds, the incidents that did occur have been dealt with in fencing off the mounds and closing the roads that used to go around a couple of them.

One question: If the park is dug up or whatever, and damage occurs, wouldn't the city of St. Paul have to pay? Since they don't pay for the prize (doesn't the P.P. pay for it?) there should be some money available. That is the only reason i am buying a button-for the hunt. So why isn't there some sort of damage deposit collecting interest all year long?

Part of the St. Paul Parks budget is upkeep. After 50 years, you can be sure there's money in the budget for any repairs needed after a hunt.

Though honestly, there really isn't much damage to property usually.

I don't think there is that much damage. If medallion hunters see there is major damage being done, then they're likely to say something. I also remember Conway, how the softball and baseball diamonds got pretty dug up. I believe people went back and helped to fix it, repair it some.
