Fine all you guys can turn on me like a pack of wolves Jake inge Thx 1138 and
few others had accused me of lying about calling the park and location, and all
I said concerning Allison was he was way off and was responding to a previous
post that Allison is the best in the cooler. Ihave given Allison plenty of
credit in the past but last year he was preoccupied with the film crew if he
can't admit that that's fine. I had the impression that we are here to help
people look in the right location and that's all I was doing, I was not trying
to keep things to myself. ARE YOU READY THX1138 and JAKE INGE LAST YEAR POST #
19,746 I called the park and location the facts are there I can't believe you
guys would cause me to slog thru 20,000 post to find it but I did. But I had to
defend myself from the slander of being called a liar ALSO nobody has said to
Allison that they are sorry to hear he's being laid off well Alison let me be
the first and Allisison I apoligize if I reacted to harshly, but lets face it we
all particpate in the pride of calling the right location. I was at conway and
was happy you called it that year. These other's accused of lying so I was upset

Like Ares and Green were saying how nice it is to call the right park it's
close to the finding the 10,000 So it's not about ego it's about let's try are
best to call the right park. Last year credit has to be given to people who
called it like STEPPDOGG post # 19,158 "Como", The Shoveler post #19,204"heading
out to Como soon see ya'll there" Emmy and Hannah's mom post # 19,226 "leaning
towards Como" Ares post # 18,857 "leaning towards Como" Regg post #18,887
"leaning towards Como #2 on his list later post switched Como to #1 on his list
Good job Regg! Leah Logan was at the frog pond post #19,092 hey she was still in
the right park. And of course Brandon Spry who called the park AND location POST

Just a quick point on the topic Mr.Spry. Some of us called the park and were
at the park waaaaaaaay before we posted the park.We also use other forms of
communication other than the computer.....I have found that it is inefficient to
try to post and dig at the same time, although some may be more talented than
I.:)
But in the end it was none of us that found the damn thang anyway!

Get ready for the Mock Hunt in February at
http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/theallisonwonderland
Well sprydoggy, if you're going to get all civil about it, then I guess I
will reply...
"Fine all you guys can turn on me like a pack of wolves Jake inge Thx 1138
and few others had accused me of lying about calling the park and location,"
I was too busy convincing people it couldn't be at Como to notice who
actually brought it up first. I thought anyone saying it was at Como was on
crack and ignored them. But it's hard to claim anything without someone else
claiming they did it first and just didn't post it.
"and all I said concerning Allison was he was way off and was responding to a
previous post that Allison is the best in the cooler."
I'm not denying that I was way off. But I think the tone of the post probably
didn't endear you to anyone. The post about me being the best came from then
documentary website. It also says hundreds of diggers will follow whatever I
say. Well maybe a dozen or so went to AA last year, but obviously there's some
hyperbole going on there for dramatic effect.
"Ihave given Allison plenty of credit in the past but last year he was
preoccupied with the film crew if he can't admit that that's fine."
I'm still not sure where this is coming from. The film crew contacted me and
they said they wanted me to be in the film because they liked the things I had
written in the past. They also said if anyone was going to be out digging, to
give them a call and I did because I figured that's what they wanted. I'll admit
working on the film was fun, but are you trying to say you think I was doing
things I wouldn't have done otherwise? I think if my behavior has changed any,
it has more to do with just having more experience at this and becoming more
confident (obviously overconfident last year). I don't think the film really
influenced that any though.
"I had the impression that we are here to help people look in the right
location and that's all I was doing, I was not trying to keep things to myself."
That's been a hard issue to deal with at times. Partly I post what I do to
try and be helpful. Partly I do it for the consolation prize of the small amount
of glory one gets for being right about something early on, even if you don't
actually get the medallion. Yet sometimes in the past, when I have been right
about something and posted it, other people would complain about me giving
things away. So sometimes I felt like I should tell people what I was thinking,
sometimes I felt like I shouldn't, sometimes I thought maybe it would be best to
just tell certain people. But I think it's one of those things where you can
never make everyone happy.
"ALSO nobody has said to Allison that they are sorry to hear he's being laid
off well Alison let me be the first"
Thanks. On the bright side though it does give me more time for hunting. And
for being in the movie :P
"and Allisison I apoligize if I reacted to harshly, but lets face it we all
particpate in the pride of calling the right location. I was at conway and was
happy you called it that year. These other's accused of lying so I was upset"
I think you may have been a bit harsh, not entirely wrong, but harsh. But I'm
willing to forget about it if you are. I think what followed was probably more
just an emotional reaction to the harshness, but now that you've made your case,
I don't think you'll have to worry about that anymore. So anyway, let's forget
about it and get back to preparing for this year's hunt.

That's my prediction, not a weather service thing. There will be some snow by
Saturday, because we have to have some by the time of the party. But we can't
have too much or people won't go. But I think we will have more snow by the time
people actually start thinking about digging on the 23rd. So I'm saying some
snow that weekend, but it will melt and compact a bit, and then a snow storm
coming through around the 22nd-23rd with about 9 more inches. That's my guess.
