Ah. She was telling the guy at the counter something about how ringing up sales effects inventory. It sounded somewhat managerial, so I wondered. But she went in the back room by the time I got to the counter, so I didn't ask "Ya dig?" Probably would have received a funny look. lol

oh just a little bit, frosty. i watched 'em through almost all of the dennis green era, and i know i'm not the first to say good riddance. of course, in recent weeks i've been accused of being a packer fan too, but that's a different story :) i'd sooner die.

I hear you. I'm not a packer fan, and it's painful to say that Brett Favre is one of the best qb's to play the game. I went through the whole Burns era too, and even vaguely remember the Steckel year. Things have been darker.

What kind of tools does everyone usually use for the hunt. Obviously a shovel, but what other things? I've always used different shovels and rakes.

I wonder if there is a merit badge for winter digging:

I've bribed my cub scouts into shoulder width digging, 8 at a time, in the past, now I'm working with boy scouts, I might have to buy them more than just hot chocolate and cookies...

Hey, anyone seen my shovel? I'm sure I left it at Como last year!

Green... I am impressed by your resourcefulness to have come up with my e-mail addy! May you be so clever with deciphering clues! As far as that film goes I'm working on it but I'm afraid someone may have taped a soap opera over it. It really was something to see, and even if I could get them to do a fly over again this year it could never compare to the madness of a thousand shovel wielding treasure hunters all running across conway park. I will let you and NAHF know if I get it back. I'm checking to see if the troopers have the original or if someone else may have kept it. Be talking to you soon, probably be at Mcgoverns. Bye P.S. I dreamed I was at this years re-hash bash and it's at..... OHHH G.D. ##!!!*&#..!! alarm clock went off!!!

i'm in and out. i seldom leave the comptuer when i'm at work. and i'm on when there's somthing good on tv at nite (ally, mondya nite football, jag, that sort of thing). personally it gets rather interesting when the hunt is actually on, since i get to watch what appears to be a couple of different groups of coolerheads. fun to watch that change take place. of course some of us are here constantly when there's nothing but noodling to do. me, scribe, thx, tim, kids, green, terry, etc.
