Hey everyone! Another couple hours at most til the clue.
PalinaJOE!
Thanks Lee!
:-)
THX - palindJoe - are you and Scribe going down to the PP - I think we are
Jordenn - sent the email
"don't want to keep reading and posting the same stuff over and over, so they don't bother any longer."
That pretty much sums it up. I don't know how many people have asked "when does the next clue come out?". Or those that come in and say "So, what park is it hidden in". Like we'd tell em if we knew!
:-)
Anyway, like you said, take it or leave it. I understand both sides.
Yikes....I'm not sure I can last another couple hrs!
Yeah, we'll be there. I gotta wake Scribe from her nap now!
Bah, I posted a message and the board ate it. :(
I am going to be hunting tonight at Como first, unless the clue points me elsewhere. I won't say exactly where... I will say that mcmurray is close, and that I'm avoiding the festivities like the plague.
I gotta fly, but I'll be back in about an hour or so.
Hey Matt,
If you see the two people with white bandages on their coats say hello to us.
Lee,
What does that mean about the e-mail? Should I tell Scribe something?
Where are the people digging I already know aw is at aa but nobody else. Last night maybe a hundred where at como but not this evening.
Is anybody digging
Matt...I was for Como and I know there are many others in here for Como as well, but I am just stuck because the clues seem to fit anywhere one wants them to fit. I mean he haven't gotten ANY water clues, tree clues, or any location clues for that matter.
ok..see ya shag...good huntin' and when you come back give me some of your takes on the hunt so far.......
Good point about the fest. I just don't think that Ma press would want any of that disturbed. That could cause a lot of probs closer to the end of the hunt.
THX: Absolutely. I wear a white towel tied around my knee.
Orange balls are hanging across the river (circularly linking) at Hidden Falls which is west...which is near the river...which used to have a ferry stop to get to the Fort (off base) and was an old way of traveling...memory lane...history..Fort road used to be W 7th.....
awake and noodling
step, i'm still for como. mostly because of that old multiple-choice test rule: your first gut feeling is probably the right one.
was anyone in here out at Newell last night at around 2:00 am?
"THX: Absolutely. I wear a white towel tied around my knee."
Cool, I'll look for you as well.
Ares - And that's why I'm such a bad test taker...I ALWAYS change my answer!! :)
Violent - not me....did you go out there?
yup, me n Shaggy were out there, in makeup n everything...i was just wondering if anyone spotted us.
Matt: will probably have a white baseball hat on... say hi! "You Dig?" LOLOL :)
Jordenn, Scribe wants to know, you going to the PP tonight?
StepDogg: You're right. :) The clues apply to my yard.
Anyone who wants to find something in a certain area will always be successful.... Especially with clues as vague as these. Highland still works, to a degree. :)
I believe tonight's clue will cause the frenzy.
The trick so far, as far as I'm concerned, is to look and see which are fitting the best, and which are fitting similar to the hunts of the past. www.coolercrew.com has clue listings for a barrel of hunts from the 1950s to today, and explanations for most of the recent ones. I study them every year, repeatedly. I look and see the patterns, I crunch the numbers. I solve the problems with *science*, as much as everyone hates it :) I nailed Cherokee, I nailed Conway.. with a combination of planning, *talking*, and crunching the data. I missed last year due to not being in the area at the time...
I will nail the park this year with the same tools :) And so far, Como seems to work the best, so far.
Hmm I missed a lot of excitment. Can we go along the no question is a stupid question lines? I'm just wondering, is there anywhere really that you can see leaves in the middle of the winter? Aren't they usually under snow?
THX: Tell Scribe that no, Prymzsphere has to work til 11 and will be home around 11:30 so we will be leaving shortly after she gets home. Leelabell gave me her cell #, so I will be calling her when we are ready to leave. You still going to Mc Murray or depending on the clue? Thanks!!! :)
"...is there anywhere really that you can see leaves in the middle of the winter? Aren't they usually under snow?"
That was the dumbest question I have ever heard!
Just kidding. :-)
matt i agree
Ok, I'm back. Had to look some information up (unrelated to this). Personally I can't say I've noticed a significant difference in the Cooler between now and a few years ago other than that this year we seem to have fewer people coming in and being completely obnoxious like we did in past years. I don't know, maybe that was needed to bring the other people together. It sounds like the implication is that I'm somehow responsible for this degradation. I don't see that. I've discussed my ideas several times already. Maybe I don't go over it from the beginning every time a new person comes in but I think I tend to say more than I should, not less. Last year on clue 7 I came out on here and said right away what it meant and some people got bothered by that. So I made my Yahoo club as a place where I could discuss what I wanted in relation to the hunt. Also, I plan on doing other hunts during the year (well at least one) and since no one comes here after the hunt is over, it helps to have people join the club. Its all for the purpose Of creating fun. There's no charges associated with my club. As for taking credit for ideas, as far as I'm concerned I'm stating my ideas and if someone doubts my credibility, I may point out my track record to inspire confidence. Personally, I tend to not be a very healthy person and I can't do a lot of digging, so finding the Medallion, even if I'm in the right park is mostly a matter of luck, and I tend to not have that sort of luck. But if I'm the first person to say the right right park in here, that's a bit of a consolation prize. It makes me happy anyway. Beyond that, I don't see what you're talking about with people not being collaborative. Everyone has their ideas and once they have them, yes they like to think they are right. I do remember Cherokee where people seemed to work together for a group concensus, but there were fewer people back then a concensus was easier to get at. I still talk to people I've never met before all the time on a variety of mediums. Michelle and I met through this last year and we started a singles club together. I just don't see it as a horrible place, in many ways I think its improved.
Elsea, you can see plenty of leaves at the Como Conservatory
Yep, Still for McMurray unless the clue changes our mind.
matt, i presume that you disqualify any of the clues that fit clues from past hunts. correct?
Do you think that today they wanted the people at the parade and not out hunting? so they make the clues more vague? i hope tomorrows clue has more detail...then we can go out tonight!!
where are the people digging is there a crowd at any park other than como. Como had the crowd last night did anybody notice, it's alot of fun when people begin to show up.
Ok THX! We will see you there then!!! :)
aw- bravo
Hello Everyone!
Tonight's the night. I feel it in my old bones here. The clue will lead us to the right place.
I have to tell you, I really like MLK. REALLY like it. I hope I'm not wrong about it. I liked it on Thursday, fell away from it for a bit - but today going back and putting it together, it seems to fit all the way around.
The clowns hit up Newell last night, and there were some people there, but yet no one saw us, people drove past also, I dont know if it was anyone in here though.
Allison, I trust your opinions more than others on this board and I've visited your site a few times. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name I signed up with or the password. I feel you wouldn't miss guide anyone with whom you've talked to whether it's here or out at a park. Please take my "thanks" for sharing your ideas and taking the time to help the less fortunate in figuring out the clues. TD
Matt, I'll be looking for you tonight. I also like McMurray. When I was there last night there was just something about the trains that go by (about every five to ten minutes). Also Bandana square used to be an old train depot and you can see that plain as day.
Vague is an understatement in my opinion :)
Clue 1 - In St. Paul....hmmmm ok.
Clue 2 - No Private land...that helps (well the first 2 never do)
Clue 3 - Circular thinking. Uhhhh, baseball? basketball? soccer? firepits? about 1,000,000 other thing that could refer to circular.
Clue 4 - East and west.....hmmm, I gotta 50/50 chance on this one :)
Clue 5 - No, a man of steel can't be real....can he?? Men of mettle. Geez...let's see. every park has about 500 monuments/streets/whatever named after people.
Clue 6 - Lots of space. Well even a small space is lots of space when a fricking medallion is buried. Riding can be fun....yep, it sure can. Doesn't help me any.
Clue 7 - HUH????
Just my humorous take on the clues to get everyone fired up for #8!!!
TV I also will be at MLK tonight right after the clue...everything fits! I was there thurs. and FRi...had to work last night and agan this morning but now.....!!!..look out..the weather is GREAT!
AW: I am not implying anything other than that your "track record," or whatever, has been brought up more than your ideas.. Perhaps not by you directly, but you've certainly got a following that seems to only reinforce you rather than think for themselves.
Ares: I don't disqualify, no, but it does discourage... regardless of the anneversaries and the complexeties stated in the clues themselves. But there are only so many things around these parks, especially Como :)
AW= well said.
Now, "Can't we all get along?"
:) :) :) :) :) :)
Violent J: you and the clowns going out tonight to Mc Murray or where?
Step! You got it!
Just my humorous take on the clues to get everyone fired up for #8!!!
humorous and truthful !
TV, I've seen a few posts here regarding MLK, but I don't know where it is located and, therefore, do not know anything about it. Would you mind sharing your thoughts?
Isn't this a place for everyone to share their ides? If it isn't would someone please direct me to the proper place. I'm new ...
of course, look at the conway hunt, dan. they gave the park out on 7 or 8, and pretty much its location within the park and it still took till day 11 to find the thing.
AW - i always enjoyed and appreciated your comments and suggestions and knowing u were there...and keeping the peace :) and makin the arguement or support - JOE
I keep forgetting about MLK... I may be out there tonight for awhile as well.
The frenzy is afoot. :)
Boy, I leave for a couple of hours and now I'll spend that much time sloggin' to catch up...:) I *really* missed something here.
OH MI GOD Step!!! WERE YOU READING MY MIND?!?!?!?!? lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess disqualify was too strong a word, matt. discourage is what i was looking for.
Jordenn, I dunno yet, we're thinkin Como still looks good, so does Newell, and were gonna see what else is up when the next clue comes out. But you can be sure, that as long as 10 grand is layin around someplace, that the Wicked Clowns will be out lookin for it.
ok. I'm back...what've I missed this time?
I may have a bit of a following, though I don't find that surprising. If I was someone who wasn't good at figuring out clues or maybe just didn't like to, just liked to go out there and look for treasure, I might choose someone I percieved as trustworthy to give me an idea of where to look. I like the puzzle aspect of it. You probably do. But I think there are lots who don't, but still want the treasure and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
Beyond that, there's plenty of people who still think I'm totally clueless, at least this year.
They said it would be much harder to find this year. So far it has.and I dont think it is in a park, but a parking lot it couldbe. does anyone agree.
Violent J: well good luck to you! I know... nice moneys! <dream, dream>
There's a playfield toward the extreme left end of McMurray. I don't think it's exactly in McMurray, but... well... This is technically still part of Como, right? (One way road, E/W parkways, riding trail)
The entire area is a dug out depression. The bleachers are actually carved into the hill. There's a broomball field there, a <x>ball diamond onhand.
Coach Road. Wynne. Various other clues. Take a look.
it would have to be an unplowed parking lot
Quickly before I leave.
First...no park clues. No trees. No picnic stuff. No water.
Clark Kent = Superman = man of steel = Kent St.
Man of Mettle = MLK.
Large space = ball fields at the corner of Dale and Concordia = circular thinking
Rondo = memory lane = trolley line = Concordia = one way going east = frontage road for I-94 = busiest street.
Hey guys!!!! Whats Up?
Same to you. You got any other place in mind other than McMurray?
people who want to think for themselves do, but it never hurts to consider other peoples thoughts and ideas
What up Regg!
hey, junior :)
you see I am a puzzle junkie...Crypto to be exact and the hunt is ..well...ME!
I agree that it could be somewhere other then a park! Perhaps PP knows that we have all become accustomed to hunting the big parks...and what better why to make it a tougher task by going against what was in the past!
Como theory #2. The SE corner of the park is where the E/W parkways meet. Close to Victoria, Close to Ryde St. Also away from the festivities. The rest of the clues start to fit there as well.
rock on terry -- but you just told EVERYONE were it's at!!
Where did you guys hunt today? Where in Como, if you went there?
I state again, Phalen Park's gates close for the night. I can't see it being there.
Depending on the clue... kinda thinking MLK or Highland??? I am so dayum confused, I dunno! I guess I will just see what I get outta the clue and take it from there. So, you and your buddies have makeup on then? Guess I will be able to spot you then, huh? You aren't gonna scare me or anything, right??? :)
why unplowed, plowed makes deep snow or banks
Matt, they were open 2 nights ago. But open and closed gates dont have anything to do with the medallion. They'll hide it anyplace they see fit.
south of the lake along como av., matt?
matt like como theory2- was looking around there today
Thanks, Terry. Will have to look that over. Does anyone know if PP actually hands out the paper at 11 PM. I just called the medallion hot line just in case I missed something and it said that the paper would be out a 11 PM. If this is so, does anyone place it on here before it is actually posted?
Ares: around that area, the place that's still technically park S of the parkway is good as well.
I need to see tonight's clue. :)
matt did u go to bernards?
I was considering Phalen Rec Center for a while. No gate or Maplewood issue there and a lot of the clues fit it.
Digger, the past couple nights i guess they handed it out late or something. and then whenever someone in here gets it, we get it. otherwise, you gotta wait til midnight to catch it on the pioneerplanet home page.
matt did u go to bernards?
So is anyone heading right out after they read tonights clue?
Don't have to worry about parks closing at night during the hunt because it's understood that if the medallion is hidden there, the park will remain open. However, the police will be patroling the area quite often. The rules change for the hunt.
The area near the ball fields and the mini-golf course is all dug up!
ares - you got your guide handy?
Elseamea, Depending on what it says...a few of us are! Are U?
is harriet island completely out of the running?? or is just about anything still up for open pondering??
Father, can you gat the paper?
Elsea, most everyone says they are going out after the clue. Where you thinkin?
matt: yet another take that may be worthwhile investigating matt (that i've spewed here 100 times or so) is the fact that lexington once ran farther east of its current path in the vicinity of the pavilion. the area is also home to the highest hill in the park (seems like we don't want to be depressed), around which there is a one-way circular street. there's a link here with the old way of travel, too.
Whattya nuts we got to be out there!!!LOLOL!
Pryzmsphere - Glad to, provided I figure out where it is to go.
whadya need, step?
Jordenn, most are thinkin Como
I'm outta here. Going Red Bull shopping and then to the PP, then to (probably) Como.
I apologize to you, Allison, if I offended you in any fashion. I have the tendency to get loud. While I have itches with things that you may be involved with, I shouldn't act to upset you. Or anyone else, for that matter. I don't intend to make anyone uncomfortable about being in this forum because I feel that way. I feel that if people harness what this is used for and get down to business that it turns out to be a Very Good Thing[tm].
Good luck to everyone, I will see you out on the battlefield.
-Matt
Did ya have a good nap, Scribe! I wish I could wake up that energized~
MATT DID U GO TO ST. Bernards
later matt
Well Scribe! Have a good nap??? :)
ares thats our #1 spot
scribe, your joke has still not been extended. i'm disappointed in you :)
just lookin' over Como...you thinking zone 4? That seems to fit.
Got the carousel, ball fields, "midway pkwy" with land on the east and west, trolley...kinda interesting.
the pavilion, king?
postscript :P
Ares: That's good information. I wrote it down. :)
Time will not escape me this year. I have no work and no ]mononucleosis to hinder me like I had the last 2 hunts. :)
St. Bernards? I don't believe so..
ttfn!
Jordenn - Well it really doesn't matter much if I say as I usually get told why I'm wrong...but my heart is set on Hidden but I'm open to show up anywhere
I had to kick Scribe off so she can get ready.
:-)
Allison, are you still here?
Its ok Matt, your points aren't necessarily wrong, but I don't think its anything intentional is all.
lol THX!
Allison, do you have someone at PP to get the paper as soon as it comes out?
yep over by the pavillion up on the hill. can see alot from up there
Ares, I was digging up on that hill on friday day. You can see the first bank sign from up there. Otherwise the hamm memorial water fall is right below the eastern side.
Yes I am. What can I do for you Treasure Digger?
dan, i'm thinking farther east (zones 3 5 and 7, though i haven't ruled out zone 2)
Hey Jordenn and Pryzmsphere, how are ya'll doing? Have you solved it yet? :o)
Kent Street runs into Marydale also. And Marydale park is one big cirle around Loeb lake. Also, and old way of travelling could refer to the railroad tracks that run by there.
Or, what about the man of steel clue referring to the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz, whereas the Lion gets plenty of mettle (courage) in the long run.
I was at the "Zone 4" area for a long time today!
Actually I'll be at the paper. What I don't have is anyone to put it on my site, but I don't think there's anyone on my site who isn't here also and I'm sure they check here first so I'm not worried about rushing to have the clue up there.
Have we completely ruled out Capital Mall??? It still works for me! Especially "busiest street" Wall Street!
Well Elseamae... maybe we will see you out there. Depending on the clue, we are heading to Mc Murray.. Best of luck to ya! :)
THX... see you and Scribe out there in a few. I am coming from Fridley, so gimme some time!
schlett, i'm doubting the old way of travel is the railroad. amtrak's been quite modernised (though their derailment record leaves much to be desired :). more than likely it either refers to horse/buggy travel, or something abandoned: closed street, relocated street, possibly an abandoned railroad track turned bike trail?
This is starting to remind me of how everyone was at Newell before they realized it was Conway.
Wall street, that's good!
Jordenn - thanks good luck to you too. Never know where I'll end up, probably bed. lol
"THX... see you and Scribe out there in a few. I am coming from Fridley, so gimme some time!"
Scribe's getting ready........so give ME some time.
:-)
Hey Crooks! I think your hiding it! lol
Welcome Crooks!!! :) :) Well, you just never know??? Waiting for the dern new clue to post, you KNOW that we will definately know where it is then! HA HA HA HA HA!!!!
Jordenn, You ignoring me?
thx, don't tell me the scribe puts on makeup and everything before she goes hunting :)
Anyway, I should probably head out so I can actually get there on time tonight. I may head out afterwards but probably more to socialize than to dig, if that's a possibility.
Allison, once the clue gets here, I will post it at your club, IF I REMEMBER!
Allison - yeah, but this time everyone has a DIFFERENT park in mind!! :)
"Jordenn, You ignoring me?"
I think she left. I think there's so much activity in here that posts get missed. I don't think anyone is ignoring anyone on purpose.
little noodle for you Arkwright/Arlington fans...there is a Burr street 1 block east of the park (famous duel)
I agree with you AW. The writers did say that the hunt would be more of a challenge than last year and they've held up to their bargin. I'm not happy about that because I really wanted to be digging today at a park that I knew the medallion was hidden there. I'm with the rest of you hoping the next clue sends us to a definite location.
thx: ROTFLMAO!!!!! :) i am telllingggggggggggg! :)
Father, Sr., Are you here?
step, i'm makin a good stretch here, but off-base = awol refers to a wall, or the stone gates at hamline and midway. there are also a couple of ball fields in the nw corner of the zone.
I still believe that the old way of travel is the river
mem'ory lane' n the memory of ones past life likened to a road down which one may travel: to walk down memory lane.
= walking paths =
"thx: ROTFLMAO!!!!! :) i am telllingggggggggggg! :)"
I thought you were leaving?
junior, don't call me father. dad works fine :)
Good thinking, dad!
izz..just a thought is not the river frozen in the winter?....JOE
Ares - WOW, that's good. never thought of it that way. hmmmm.
By the way, the film crew told me today that people aren't calling them to say where they are digging so they're just kind of wandering around randomly. I suppose in a day or two it won't matter, but if you plan on being somewhere they have a message number, 612 676 2147 where you can tell them where you'll be and when. I think they're still looking for new faces to talk to.
But....once again, every park has walls and ball fields!! :)
Hey Crooks....have you thought of anything new?
not really. about half of it is stll flowing...does it not flow to warmer parts of this country that stay warm during this time of year? why should it matter if the river is frozen or not?
unfortunately, step we're still at a point where it can be anywhere. not only do we have factions of crew(wo)men for each park, we've got them for different areas of the same park. this clue-writing is killing me.
Isn't transportation GREAT!!! No matter how much you think you have it figured out, there's always a different way. Boat, train, car, wagon, horse, feet, airplane, etc. These writers have researched their clues to fit anything. We as hunters are just as smart to be able to make them fit any park we want. Life's great and so is the hunt!!!
Dad, its funny, I call you dad, but I don't even know your first name!
Nope, just waiting for the next clue, have been working on a project for an old friend of mine. You about ready to get off work and take Jordenn looking? She needs help!!!!
regg, that honor is something reserved for those who know me :). i bet step doesn't even remember my first name, but i know his. if you read back 10000 or so posts its occasionally spread out in there :)
I'll be back later
b4 you go, izzy if you catch this, the underside of the river continuously flows. it's not frozen solid.
Ares - I know the first name....just never use it in posts! :)
step, it doesn't matter if you do. a few clicks, and it can be found. i'm kinda the vain sort if ya know what i mean. :)
izz..well, this is the winter carnival and this is st. paul..when i think about history and travel i would think they were talking about here..and not in Kansas or...say..New Oreleans
SURE DOES! Yep almost finished....just waiting for my relief! It's been a long day and no I have to drag my butt out in the cold and look for a piece of plastic in cardboard. Oui! what a day!
I think its by the Palm Lot and minigolf course! Lots of diggers there. By the mini-golf course, there are ballfields, a path (old fashion way may be walking!), and the carosel is almost visible!
at least you're not jumpin into a frozen lake on new year's, pryzm.
THX: gotta wait for Pryzmsphere to get here (about 11:30) then we will be leaving for Mc Murray!
I got very fine "veryfine" drink out of one of the clues. Did anyone see a "Veryfine" drink pop machine at any of the parks? I also was wondering about the "one way"
Jordenn, look at yahoo...... RUDE!!!!!
ares..true but...is that a means of traveling? in the old ways? brrrrr
Jordenn, where is Mc Murray? I can't find it in my THG. Is in on the web site only?
Regg - that area of como looks the best to me as well.
Ares! you are correct! Thanx bud for putting things in perspective!
I'm still stickin' with Newell though baby!!!
TG... Mc Murray is next to Como (by the animal shelter)
What the most likely place to be at everyone Como? AA? or McMurray?
rich, i wasn't trying to imply anything with that, just making a fact. although the emphasis you put in the second question reminds me. sailing is the second oldest form of travel known to man when you think about it.
Ares, what would you like my name to be!
at the frog pond, jc. that's where we're all at, and why we're still here.
I agree with ReggMan. That's the location of the East and West Picnic grounds, too. Circular thinking=the 3 stone firepits at West grounds. The treasure, however, is out of view of these, up from the depression, at the playground, where I'll have my smile. Circular drive
ok....hmmmm....
figured out mine yet, regg? and don't go there with that question. it sounds like you lifted it from "pretty woman" :) no offence intended, though.
What up Schlett Doggy Dogg....
Thanks, Jordenn. Why do you think it's there? What leads you to the park?
JC, you made me laugh. I kinda feel that way about now. Guidance please!!!
There were 2 annoying kids at Frog Pond, anyone see them?
ares......"sailin' on the frog pond" wheeeee :)
sorry, regg. i just drove around 2day.
just as long as you don't knock down the home i'm building there, rich :)
TD... if you look back about 200 posts you will see 2 postings from Scribe, that is why I am thinking Mc Murray. Lots to type so I am taking the lazy way out... forgive me!!! :)
Jesus Freakin Christ, I guarantee you its at a smaller sized park, if it was at a huge park they would have said something about Como or Phalen, Nothin of that. Id say its AA or McMurray
ii certainly won't if you invite me over for tea! :)
jordenn, it's more like 4 or 5 hundred posts.
StepDogg, when can we hunt? Is tonight the night? I need purpose
In the first clue..the BOLD letters spelled GOOD LUCK, in #2 and #3 they spell TFGA CTYI...unable to find meaning except.....
To Find Gold At Como Take Your Icepick
Clue #8
Now our game is well underway Let all the clues govern your senses If you let the treasure lie another day Time will fly by mending fences
Don't be too conservative in your search or swing to another view Take this occasion to get off your perch And be one of the lucky few
sorry, rich, no tea. only coke on ice :)
JC- They said "a large area with lots of room"
Is Jason in here somewhere? :)
Thanks! Don't mind looking back. Does the clue only come out here at midnight? I'm hoping it will be earlier. Have to get up early and can't stay up - need sleep. Was up late last night.
mebbe, self. depends who's looking.
palinajoe!
Says Digger1...cable car refers to the cable car club house that is at the mini golf course at como
Wisdom
Jordenn, did you get booted again :(
Just keeping on my toes!
aa it is.
Ares...coke on ice?! "HELLO CAPTAIN...sailin on the pond!" I'm there!! :)
What I hope the next clue will be:
CLUE 8
I know with all your luck
The clues had to suck
You guys spent a long time in the dark
I'll help you all out, it's at _________ park!
BAYGENTDUDE, I saw the gold letter too? Someone on the chat line told me that it was not bold in the PP paper that if I was on netscape it would not be visible. That person said since I was on internet explore that it showed up in bold.
rich, i drink a coke every morning when i get to work regardless of how cold it is outside. and as long as the price of it at work is the same as the price of coffee and hot cocoa, i'm not gonna change anything. notice i didn't say captain cokes, though. :)
very cute regg... gotta luv ya...
excellent clue, regg.
Is post 21407 not the real clue?
Dude....is this the real thing or what?
Clue #8
Now our game is well underway Let all the clues govern your senses If you let the treasure lie another day Time will fly by mending fences
Don't be too conservative in your search or swing to another view Take this occasion to get off your perch And be one of the lucky few
ares..i usually do the diet coke thing..i was just puttin' the first thought of "you sailin' on the pond" with being a "captain"..again I am a puzzle junkie and that was one of my riddles...guess i'm not to good at this...all though a captain/coke(diet) is pretty nummy:)
Clue #8
Now our game is well underway Let all the clues govern your senses If you let the treasure lie another day Time will fly by mending fences
Don't be too conservative in your search Or swing to another view Take this occasion to get off your perch And be one of the lucky few
Frankly I'm still lost
as much as i'd like to trust the clue, brandon posted it at 2259, and mom hasn't been all that great at getting the clues out in a timely fashion lately. but, since i am gonna trust it, it's as useless as the last 7 for narrowing anything down.
I like my clue better!
rich, so do i. the diet is just one more thing to type, so i frequently omit it.
Regg - so did I, at least yours had _____ guidance
Capital Mall capital Mall capital mall
Governs= Johnson HS== Arlington playground
Brandon - you going there?
Schlett - I don't know man...I need to get out there and start doing some manual labor!!!
so, brandon, the govern is obvious. mending fences a subtle reference to the, uh, fiasco, between jesse and venturaland?
wolf, how about the playground at farnsworth elementary right across the street. it's a lot less of a stretch than to jump from jhs to arlington, and it's just as public as a rec centre.
you do, step. you've got what, 24 hours left here?
I'm not trusting that until it is posted later....midnight if i have to wait. Although it is damn good if made up.
This is the real thing!!!!
