cougar, if your current ones are expiring soon, you may want to consider getting them now. then you can transfer them to the new wheels, and get new normal plates for the old ones. a piece of advice on getting them with the new car (taken from my experience with the 'stang): have the form with you when you buy; that way, when that car's new plates show up, they'll be your umn plates. otherwise you'll be waiting 3 months until you have a title (unless the car's already got mn plates). i figure my success in life is in part due to the scholarship i got from the u. the least i can do is give back 50 bucks a year to display unique license plates.

Como sounds good to me. Circular thinking=the 3 stone fire pits at the West picnic grounds. The choice that leaves you depressed=the West picnic grounds. Thus, the right choice is the East Picnic grounds (up above the depression of the lower grounds) where playing puts a smile on your face (playground/baseball field). Riding around=carousel at Como. Como also has lots of space. Any thoughts?

"No university class will ever teach you what LSD can." -- an anonymous writer to the mn daily's network column.

como - i think the riding portions of clue 6 lead to this one (btw, anyone know if the ride area is considered part of the zoo proper?) also could be a reference to the paddle-boats on the lake. circular references to the conservatory and the carousel.

hidden - out of view, yes it's early on for a reference to the park if they're gonna keep it difficult. new idea from a friend of mine in mankato - circular == sewer pipe == the start of the falls? (whooshing sound of 15 cooler-crewfolk heading to the north end of hidden).

phalen - bus turnaround, end of the park road going westbound are circular. plenty of stone walls there, off base == a.w.o.l. => walls. (sound of 15 more running to phalen) there's also the round pipe climing equipment in the playground. and it's overdue.

highland - the disc-golf course, many chain links at the pins when they're in place. discs are by definition circular (unless you've scavenged a couple off the bottom of the pond down at north valley that should have been thrown back), since this is the only thing that really matches, highland gets the last spot on my "it's probably here" list.

OK

"Riding around can be fun" and "move off base" have to correlate somehow because look at how it's worded...

The prize is at a place with lots of space

Where riding around can be fun

But you'll have to move off base

If you hope to be the victorious one

  • *riding around can be fun BUT you'll have to move off base?? Can you ride around on baseball fields? These clues are strangely worded this year in my opinion.
