unless you have the medallion in your hands, you don't know where the hell the thing is either. So lay off, nobody's impressed by your sophomoric comments.

EVERYBODY PRESENT:

Do not try to bring any new idea to this board that may not have already been mentioned. You WILL be ridiculed, as has been shown in the recent history on me. Any creativity WILL be immediately crushed. Instead, say only that, "Yes, I also think the medallion is at Highland Park/Hidden Falls." I would lean toward Como anyday over those choices.

Just messin wif yo, it hasn't been found yet... OR THAT I KNOW OF, I accually think a good idea so ppl wont find it, and hold onto the med. for people to continue to search is if you find it in the first few clues, you git more money then if you find it towards the end, cuz somone might have already found it, and doesn't turn it in.

The FAIRGROUNDS was meant to clear eveybody's mind off what they were currently thinking. That leads to new ideas for more potent choices. Throwing out a ridiculous answer every once and a while is the main rule to brainstorming. Doesn't anybody get that?

Donna, if it set you back $50, it would be worth it. I'm not even making commission on it either. I think that's why MA press is so irritated this year because those who have that book know a lot more than we used to.

How I see things for Eastview:

Circular thinking: merry-go-round East and West: East, along with View from previous clue Man of Steel: Harding High School Knights

How do you apply the clues to Battle Creek and Mounds? (Battle Creek would be excellent for me, being in the Highwod Hills Neighborhood)

True with the open-space thing. I guess that's why I preface it with the overt reference heading. I just think anyone interested in noodling needed a turn back in a less counter-productive direction. Airport/open space...I'd ponder that noodle.

Donna asked for a website to get maps. I found this one to be ok since I'm not very familiar with the parks around here. (I'm a first time hunter this year)

The serious medallion man, I hunt and research 24/7

Clue 4 There is a road which ends too soon. Used more often during June. We wish you luck and lots of fun. Hunting treasure by moon or sun

That is from the 1961 medallion hunt at Highland. Doesn't that sound like the "or you will be hunting till June" thing this year?

cougar, the brochure is at http://www.dps.state.mn.us/dvs/PlBrochure/Page6.htm#col there's a pdf form you can grab from http://www.dps.state.mn.us/dvs/PDFForms/Forms/Special%20Plates.pdf

fill it out, take it to town square with 8 or 8.50 for a plate fee, 3.50 for a filing fee, and a 25 dollar or greater donation to the scholarship fund at your college of choice.

i've got a friend from milwaukee. she love my plates to death. i told her she can get them, but the first thing she's got to do is get minnesota plates on her car :)

actually, n-cat, the public property definition is something i only caught because i couldn't remember which section the dedication clause was in.

for the record, i don't have a law degree, i don't want one, mostly because i, like most people, have a very bad impression of them. i'd just as soon read the law for myself and save myself 150 an hour. stepdogg, your sister is excluded from that opinion.

Regg - Sort of. But the June reference in the old clue sounds like its talking about the road. The June reference this year is just telling us that the clues this year are going to be so hard that we'll be hunting until June.

step, i haven't done a whole lot of thinking on the subject matter. we've been out at menard's with a collection of their 25% off bags getting a collection of discounted stuff and tools for nate's new (old) house.
