It's the 'man of mettle'that seems to be near the prize.Senor DeSoto?"Look for his name around our deal"-rather than Clark who takes you to the site from the South. This would make it on the west side of this park, that I still don't know the name of.

Yes, Duane, given today's clue about room to ride around and such, I can't make it fit any more. There is no "riding" to be done at Valley. The Hills go to a busy road, so sledding would be tough. It's a big flat nothing with bike trails, etc. Only a small playground set, and if that's "riding", well then that's not a good clue. I am going with the crowd--must mean bicycles or the like. But there was a heck of a view, and it's close to home.

I personally am getting just a little frustrated. It's strange that they haven't said it is in a park yet? Which could lead you to a rec center. I don't see it being Como this year, and that's just me. I just hope tonights clue gives me something to work off of.

There is plenty of space, and places for sleds or even skis. But 'riding around'would have to mean snowmobiles, and there is a trail.I'm not sure if it's for machines. It seems more for hiking.

Riding around should be a significant clue. That could be a fly in the ointment here.

REGALMAN:I was there yesterday, but very solitary. There were even words carved in the snow, and I thought maybe somehow this bird of peace(dove)was hidden in the words.

But there's no way you can search those words in the snow without distort the words, and making a mess.I decided that wasn't the right word clue.

But Clark St. leads to it,and there's plenty of space.

Hello!

Big plan to get out of work early to dig got whittled away and soon I was there as late as usual. Really sux!!!

Looks like everyone has their own interpretation of the clues.

For what it's worth - the only thing that bothers me about any of the usual big parks is the fact that nothing has been said yet about a park - just public ground. No water. No trees. No picnic stuff. Only bases.

It can be the fairgrounds, because they use the mailing address as "St Paul"

I like the concept of big and open, enough to fill 2 or 3 times the usual turnout. The Press would be smart to anticipate HUGE crowds and not put the med. in a tiny park, or one that is close to heavy traffic, etc...

I don't think I would of gotten caught at the fairgrounds if it wasn't for the fact that I had a body in the trunk and it was the middle of summer. So Be careful.

I think it's at Hidden Falls or Highland, and since they are close, you can hit them both in one day!

I think it has to be downtown, or downtown has to be visable for the 1st bank building, cashing in the bank, because we were told its deep in the snow, stating its in a snow bank means a double clue, which I think won't happen. I beleive the Circular Thinking has somwthing to do with all the places layed out. I'm starting to wonder if the circular their talking about is not about the shape, but about a newspaper, i.e. a newpaper box

Highland pretty much has that open area where it was before as their Big open area. It won't be on the open area on the back half because that's where the golf holes are. You think it would be by the police station again? I liked the bridge outlining the old folks home view. Kinda like the big W

I am not saying directly on the fairgrounds property, but rather the PUBLIC institution immediately next to it called the U of M- SAINT PAUL. Circular thinking: Street called Buford circle, surrounded with buildings of higher learning. Not too far away, there are baseball fields, one east and one west, with a playground for daycare.

JB - Yes?

Regg - I didn't know anybody read edits. No offense taken

Tom - That same course goes around the whole park

Teddy - I did a few years ago and they Did kick us out saying that we would be arrested to trespassing. That's how I found out the private property thing.
