Jake, just for the sake of argument, couldn't they make it go the distance by
providing a series of vague clues that fit most parks and rec centers in the
city, and not going very specific? As of clue 4, I have seen about 12 parks
suggested on this board, yet not enough consensus to create the digging frenzy
sufficient to ensure the medalllion is found? Sway me please. If I eat too many

Getting back to the hunt ... ok, this is really a stretch, but I don’t have
any better ideas, so I’ll just say it. ... Holcumbe Circle and Marshall/Webster
Park (apparently this is all one park)
-the words east and west can be found in Marshall/Webster (this is the
really-stretching part)
-Holcumbe CIRCLE
-there’s a playground
... It’s in the Summit Dale area, if you want to try to find it on your map.
The Hunter’s guide also adds, “the park is on school grounds but has a rec
center included.” (yeah, I know I said earlier that one shouldn’t read too much
into the clues.) back to homework.

if you're looking for a copy of it, i picked mine up last year at what used
to be the hungry mind over on grand. it ran 14 bucks, but when i do finally find
the medallion, it will have been 14 bucks well spent.

OK ! Now its time to get down to business. Everyone likes at least half a
dozen parks at this point of the game. The question I present is how many of
those parks have construction activity in them and would the "med-hider" place
this little blue translucent piece of acrylic in that park? Ponder this one for
a moment.

Hey, gang! To get the newest copy of the St Paul Parks - A Treasure Hunter's
Guide, go to www.treasurehunt.8m.com. and ask for a copy. As far as parks being
closed a night, during the hunt the city keeps the park open because of the
Winter Carnival and the Medallion Hunt. The police patrols the park pretty close
if that is the case.

Try calling Hunters Press at 2141 Palace Ave. in St. Paul. That were the book
has been sold in the past. I purchased my directly from Steve last year. He's
pretty quick at sending it out.
As far as the clues, I still am circling St. Paul because it states clearing
St. Paul and not Ramsey Cty. as it usually does. The capital is one on my list
because of the "gold" horses, war monument, 1st Bank sign, steer - old
stockyard. But please help me if I've totally misguiding my predictions.
