I doubt I'll be at McGovern's tomorrow....just a little hard with 3 little ones, and being under the weather. I felt bad leaving them this evening (the oldest has it bad). But I'll be out digging - and for sure there will be the ReHash Bash on the 4th.

If I had to choose a park at this point, it would be more than likely Phalen Park. Look for an area that is 'fenced in' the med will be 'buried' in a snowbank wrapped in a TCF deposit envelope

no no, phaelen is not divieded between maplewood and saint paul east west wise, its north and south. i like the thought on hidden falls though, and that whole park is a depression

also, very strongly believe though if water was at the park (ie lake, or river) it would of been mentioned by the 4th clue.

Well, I did promise to not spill the beans again this year, though I did post my theory on my club if you're a member of that. Basically though keep in mind that Clue #4 says East AND West, not OR. So perhaps the answer is a place where you have both, and there is such a park, and after having been there tonight, it seems to fit all the rest of the clues pretty well too, and I don't think you even need to stretch them to do so.

Well there's always the chance you'll beat me to it since I won't be out until tomorrow night. Plus I hate digging. Mostly I just like to claim credit for being the first one to figure it out. :)

been doing this a long time and i love it. use to sit by the press with tv in truck and wait for the next clue. when it got down to the nitty gritty they would just throw the pappers out on the street what a mad house!!! it was great!!!!!!

Survive at a different level is all. Other than the final 2 or 3 clues, I don't see a cell or lap top helping too much.

Looking back on many hunts I see the locusts go from one end of the park to the other depending on what the flavor (clue) of the day is. When it's all said and done, it's right in the middle of all those spots. Best advise is (and I know you didn't ask) is to find open snow and dig. Don't follow the puck like the Peewee's do in hockey if you know what I mean.

Heh, lots of ideas. I've seen Como's parkway with an E and a W... I also like the Wheelock address of Phalen, though.

Also, there's an ampitheater at Como, right? Playing might put a smile on your face may be referring to the theatrical kind. A limb, but a feasible one.
