Modern day pirates might use a torpedo, but not likely. Their goal is to rob
the ship, not sink it.
Two years ago, when they used the sports references, it was to augment a
later clue, when they referred to a famous person. It was supposed to help you
think of Babe Ruth.

of rules around what flag a ship was flying and what ships had loyalties to what
countries. The pirates only followed these rules when it suited them.

the sign says City of St. Paul. Falcon Heights runs from Hoyt north just beyond
Larpenteur which is then Roseville.

I thought that only 50 of the Snoopy's were auctioned. There are some still
around town tho - there was a PP story a couple of days ago abou them I believe
- they were thinking of doing something like it again, except w/ Lucy, Linus -
except the Mayor didn't think it would work - that would probably be overload,
but weren't they going to bronze or put one in gold or something (or a few) in a
park - perhaps Rice, in the future?

OK - You can go ahead and give up now
As a word to the wise. The last couple of years driving around the
fairgrounds we were asked to leave by park police on grounds of trespassing. We
gave our reasons and each year they told us that the fairgrounds are now
privately owned and the city doesn't have anything to do with the grounds
anymore. If you know different, we'd be glad to hear what you know. Ex. anyone
working on grounds, security etc getting paid by the city (or state)

watch the clues completely point to COMO, and then on clue 10 11 or 12 he
puts a street or ave. on the end, and ittiz really fari grounds all along.
leelabell - 12:22am Jan 22, 2001 CST (#11152

Not to beat a dead horse, but my unreliable map shows that Hoyt is the border
on the east side of Snelling and that Coliseum Ave or Rd inside the fairgrounds
is the border on the west side of Snelling - putting the entire fairgrounds in
Falcon Heights.
