Fourth Annual (GASP! Has it been THAT long ALREADY?!) Pre-Dig Gig, Sat, Jan 19, 2002 - McGoverns! BE THERE!!!

Map, if you know me, then I have to agree with you. I don't deal with injustices too well.

You have me at a disadvantage. I'm not sure I know you. I've an idea, and if I'm correct, ittiz good to see you here. I've been where you are... And it will get better. I think of you often and have wanted to reach out to you. Been there. But didn't want to intrude...

Since I can be "ungentle" at times.

Whatever. I'm so glad you're here. Things now feel much better!!! Wasn't the same w/o you!

Forgive me if I've mistaken you for someone else.

`00 Aggie

Hey everyone...I am seeing all the posts and wondering why there is no fight for Highland...Is there something that is detouring us all from that possibility...please let me know!!! As for now I will once again plead my case for Highland.

Well here we go with my Highland speal...

Clue #1 - As always no meaning, just TO say it's in St. Paul and to stay off the damn golf courses (hinting it's at a park with a G.C.

)

Clue #2 - I refer set your own pace to cross country skiing on the G.C. - Ace belongs to the par 3 hole directly behind the blue water tower - last 2 lines have no meaning.

Clue #3 - This is the most important clue by far - A tower or 2 should come into view in King Boreas direction...with King Boreas direction being north... if you drive north on Sneeling coming from West 7th St...you come over a huge hill, as you go over the hill, almost directly to the north you see the first big blue water tower, after a couple seconds the 2nd large blue water tower comes in to view after being hidden by the first. Meanwhile this all taking place almost directly to the north. Note: the clue says it will only be helpful if you are looking in King Bores direction.

Clue #4 - the clue to me refers to the 2 different G.C.'s...each having a clubhouse to GET OUT OF THE RAIN, also there is a large BBQ area to the east of the Frisbee Golf Course, also Tennis courts lead to the serve idea in line 2.

Clue #5 - s strictly hinting to you what the clue is in

This is just a hunch but I have noticed that all the activites listed in my explanations surround the Frisbee golf course...cooincidence? I think not : )

Also There is supposedly a dog sled event at Highland this weekend (chase?)

Anyway...let me know if I have sold you on highland or if you see any flaws in my devious plan!

Again it's all about "isms" This all works because we are capitalists. If we were communists, we'd all work together (in theory) and have the $ distributed to us all by Mom. However, since we were communists and human beings, we'd all be too lazy to dig and count on the other guy to do it and no one would ever find the medallion. This is the end of todays civics lesson.

I hear you green. But I do think the people that want it spoon fed, are those who wouldn't find it, if it was in their bowl of sphagettios. They sit here and look and watch what people are saying, once in awhile chiming in with.."what do you think about?..." screw them. They will walk outside once the park is widely determined, kick some snow with their boot and ghasp at their work load. I have worked hard already, spent lots of time, lost tons of sleep and we're only half way there. Thanks to those who are this way--I will give you a ride in my car, but I wont give you my car.

Bide your time, Step Dogg...

My philosophy is that anyone can win the lottery once. If anyone pulls that medallion out tonight they deserve it. But at this stage in the game I would still call it more luck than Sherlock Holmes. For anyone who is certain that it's in Phalen, there's someone who's just as certain it's in Newell or Highland. And I'm sure there's even someone going "you know it could be near the frog pond." Rest easy, young squire...the view never changes unless you're the lead dog, but often a leader can't be established until a trail is known.

Fourth Annual (GASP! Has it been THAT long ALREADY?!) Pre-Dig Gig, Sat, Jan 19, 2002 - McGoverns! BE THERE!!!

Ain't gonna be me that finds it. I'm not good at the end, when it comes down to the final location. Hell, I was sssssooooo bad in '98, and only marginally better last year... That I'm *almost* convinced I'm wrong this year about the park, let alone where The Med rests.

I am getting better. MUCH! :) Reading way less into the clues. But Chair-O-Key was SO HARD. I got so frustrated - I couldn't understand anything all the udders did. It just didn't make sense to me. Was like everybuddy was talking a foreign language.

Last year was kind'a, a little, easier. But only a little. I only got like two clues. Man! Felt like I'd found The Med! I was so happy I aced "row of trees" (woodrow)!

This year... It all fits, but I see myself as a loser - a non-reader o'clues. So, I keep thinking, "I've GOT to bee wrong... Ittiz going too well..."

This year scare me. It seems too easy. Like too good to be true. Really scares me, but the clues keep coming out right.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to find it. But, really, there are MANY that have been hunting way, way longer than me.

If I ever *did* find it? Everybuddy in the park would know in a heartbeat as I'd fall over dead with a heart attack! The SHOCK would kill me! :>

And the tracks....tracks on either side that join together leads you to Newell. But it still doesn't feel right. I thought maybe Como because of the "Almond" exract and you can see the Shoreview towers from Como, 1 tower and then two together, but they're elusive as you go through the park. Too, it was in Como recently. I'm not ruling out some other parks...not even Highland yet. We need another clue.

It is not always by plugging away at a difficulty and sticking to it that one overcomes it; often it is by working on the one next to it. Some things and some people have to be approached obliquely, at an angle.

Thanks Logan. I think that maybe that these clues maybe just are very vauge and everyone is still just trying to make something out of nothing. Maybe not. It just seems weird to me that they haven't even really narrowed the parks much yet and that we are still all so divided on where we think that it could be.

I just came up with a new idea! not sure if it's been said but I don't recall seeing it...the 5th Clue says Opposites attract and thats a fact, Even if your mood's cloudy and foul. Well the opposite of cloudy is sunny and the opposite of foul could be delightful...what aout the medallion being hidden in one of those 8 oz. bottle of Sunny Delight? is it a stretch, or possible???

Two, I've said tons. In many posts. Ittiz all here.

I'll tell you what I think #5 means:

opposites one word says it all for both "cloudy" AND "foul". An antonym. One word. And ittiz the name of a street.

Troy/Kitty, possibly. But not according to my Word thesaurus (sp?). I'm not just picking words outta my head. My opinion's based on what I *found*.

There are many antonyms for both words. But only *one* that fits both "cloudy" and "foul."

Troy & Kitty - 05:50pm Jan 27, 2000 CST (#4377 of 28288) Mark Reply

I know that "fair" is nothing new, but the one word that green keeps talking about is driving me crazy. I can't figure it out. I've looked at all the antonyms for cloudy and foul and fair is the only one that they both share.
