Susie - I was thinking Pinehurst also!! First, Hurst. I think this might be it. Line refers to a street. Hmmm - looking at my Hudson Map though, Pinehurst runs right
into the golf course part of the park. Would have to see in person. Maybe it is just really close the the course - that's why they told us NOT to go on the course.

Rock - I'm saying according to your theory, the clues are based on Devils Den (your ideas on tome, iconoclast, etc.). Devils Den is not the name of the park - its an
assumed name for part of the park. Not everyone knows this. Maybe its at NP, but they wouldn't base the clues on DD.

could it be that Josiah Snelling (Ave.) and Henry Ford (Pkwy.) are the icons and we are supposed to be iconocalsts and turn our back on them. Meaning to go
away from that intersection at HP..... that intersection is also near the sledding hill which we are supposed to stay away from. Clue 1 also mentions a scene and being
caught. There is a police station at HP. Also lots of game and sports references... HP has football, tennis, golf, baseball, etc.but how do the 9 5 4 fit into HP?????

I've got it!! The treasure is at Palace Playground west end of St.Paul.Look over the tree line of Linwood park and you will see Jefferson Ave(famous name)Monroe
school and St.francis are right there and St.clair Library is there also

I am new to all of this, but, does the park that they speak of have to be a park with trees and grass and the such? When people go to popular activities, don't they
usually drive to them? Don't they park their cars? Wouldn't meters be lined up like trees? Aren't the rows and spaces numbered? When you are in the parking lot

I believe that the most recent clue, if deciphered, would lead to a literal 'sign'. Either a street sign as in Hewett St. or perhaps a sign in the park that the medallion is
buried close to. The word 'sign' at the end of the clue sticks out in my mind. Any thoughts?

As far as I can see it is definitely at Np but I can't rule out HP just yet...here is why... NP #1 Street names Taylor(referring to president when Pioneer Press first
came out) Fairview (mentions fair scene i believe it is in the 3rd clue) Wheeler ( 4+5+9=18...18 wheeler(semi)) Hubbard (1 block away ...former hall of FAMEr
with last name Hubbard) Hewitt from tonights clue...and PB of course...which takes care of every street surrounding NP...also like to add in Young St. which is one
block away...Brigham Young school(place of learning) Final supporting fact....tonights clue sayd relate back to earlier clues..."As WELL in the NEW" What does

Jason, I disagree. It says somewhere in here there's a clue thats clear. "here" could mean EITHER this clue, or all the clues in general. Why waste an entire clue by

Back from Newell and parks beyond. Probably 15 - 20 people at Newell yet at 1:30...then checked out Highland about 2:00. Probably only 6 out there that I could
see in the fog. Then on to the Capitol Mall. By 2:15 or 2:30, there were at least 10 people there and some were doing some serious digging.

Just got back from prosperity park, it has a Clear St. that runs into it, Clear St, runs right into field #4, there is also a scoreboard for baseball, which has the 4th 5th
and 9th innings on it... Also a horseshoe pit, tennis courts, basketball courts, hockey rink, does any of this fit, or am I just tired from digging. Also went to Newell
Park, lots of scattered trees, I'm baffled!

Merriam made sense to me...a tome is one of the books in a work of several volumes...a dictionary...MERRIAM-Webster .... there is Merriam Library there and
that is where you yearn to learn...an iconoclast is one who overthrows traditional or popular ideas...etc....so I think it will be at a park it has never been at

I also noted the lack of the word "water" in the clues.... In fact reference to "trees" is the first mention of any kind of natural formation at all. Usually these things are
"throwaway" mentions in clues one or two. Thats what had me searching the more urban parks early, but further clues have not been helping......

The Pioneer Planet folks took them away, hopefully temporarily. They weren't sure what was causing all the crashes, so they pretty much stipped the place bare.
There is a notice at the top of this page that tells about what they're doing to address the technical issues.
We all know it wasn't the icons that were causing the crashes. They are saved to your cache, and they load from there, not from the server. But, I guess it'll take
some experimenting before they figure it out for themselves.

Mo that is a good idea though with linwood but everything points to devils den and Randy Moss i go there at about 1 last night and had a fire and beer and food.
didnt leave till about 5:00. most of the time we just talked because for one thing you cannot dig in devils den at night way to hard even with a flashlight and plus the
fog was out last night so conditions were pretty bad!!

After much musing over the clues, I have come to the conclusion that the medallion is at ADVENTURE PARK on the fair grounds. Here is why: If you stand in
Adventure park, you can see the large nine on the channel nine station, the large five on the channel 5 station, and obstructed is the channel four sign… “somewhere
a four” As far as numbers adorning the front door, every entrance to the fair is numbered, and the two main entrances happen also to be 9 and 5 Flying down hill
relates to the carpet slide that is on the opposite end of the park, so we won’t get too close to that There is also a chapel that we won’t go near cause we are
iconoclasts The man of fame is Famous Dave’s barbecue that is right on the same piece of land, and Dave is a common name the surely can be found in many a
tome There are lots of trees in lines on the property as well, but I have not been there today to see what they point to EVERY CLUE FITS THIS PARK!!!!

Has anyone considered that a line of trees is a GROVE = Groveland ? There is a Groveland playground in StP. Or grove could mean Grover Cleveland. Cleveland
Ave is near Merriam Pk.(Of course if you continue north on Groveland you will run into Pierce Butler which leads to Newell.)

In clue #2, they refer to a popular outdoor attraction. Newell park is right by Municipal Stadium, where the Saints play. Can you think of a more popular St. Paul
outdoor attraction? Also, the first letters of the clues seem to be starting to spell "Saint's Field", although you will have to unscramble the letters. Just a thought.

only things i found that would relate to newell..
there is a row of trees skirting the park.. along with a 40mph sign.. I followed the phone poles.. didn't lead me anywhere..
and the clue about value in new and well.. something like that.. some of the streets may relate in some way.. but thats every park.. hopefully tonights clue will be
more informative

was at newell last night about 10 o clock, many people there but it is all dug up to hell
saw the 954 thing too, but again nothing left to dig up around there too.
didn't see what people are calling the devils den...unless its that clump of bushes on the corne of hewitt and fairview.
anyone think of Kellog park, line of trees up and down the street or something like that. The river crossing bridges wabasha robert street and high bridge fit some of

LIN and line... I think your stretching it a bit. These are clever clues and I don't think they would go with something that lame... There may be other clues that fit, but
most of the parks we are talking about fit most of these clues. I think there is something hidden in these clues that we have not seen yet. They are not going to give 10
grand away and make it like every other year. This one is special and I think your seeing that in these clues.
